Academy Vision and Mission

Mission: Internationals Network Academy at Bernstein High School engages active learners by providing a collaborative learning environment that celebrates cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Students will be assets to their communities and be prepared for their post-secondary journey

 

Vision: We create student-centered instructional experiences that are rigorous, and provide opportunities for real-world projects which allow students to learn language and content collaboratively, while drawing on their strengths.  We support the whole student by leveraging various resources and community partners.

At Bernstein High School we value:

Who qualifies to enroll at Bernstein High School International Newcomer Academy?

 
Per the California Department of Education, an International Newcomer Student is a foreign-born English Learner enrolled in U.S. schools for 3 years or less.
